Three Tax Free Weekends in July Approaching
It’s hard to believe but we are actually approaching back to school time and with back to school comes Tax Free Weekends. Many states have early Tax Free Weekends this year to account for school starting back early.
One of the states is Georgia, Georgia’s 2016 Tax Free Weekend will run on the last weekend of July(30th-31st) this year. This is for Clothing, Computers, and School Supplies for the Back to School season. Full details on Tax Free Weekend 2016 GA here.
Another state having an early sales tax holiday in 2016 is Tennessee. Tennessee’s 2016 Sales Tax Holiday will run from July 29th through the 31st. A finally Mississippi will have it’s 2016 Tax Free Weekend MS on July 29th-30th. Just a reminder, Mississippi’s tax free savings will not apply to that Sunday(July 31st.) Find out what items are tax free and their limitations on the Mississippi Sales Tax Holiday page.
