Twelve states participate in Tax Free Weekend 2016 starting Friday

This coming weekend will be the biggest sales tax break of the year for 12 states. Tax Free Weekend 2016 kicked off last weekend with Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi. This tax free weekend will feature Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Maryland will have their 2016 Tax Free Week Event starting the weekend(August 14th-20th) after next and Connecticut’s Tax Free Week begins August 21st(until 27th.)
