Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday 2017 will not likely happen.
Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday 2017 will not likely happen due to the the Massachusetts legislature not approving the Sales Tax Holiday bill this year. This would only be the second time in four years that Massachusetts didn’t have the weekend sales tax free in August.
We estimate the lack of approval is due to a large budget gap announced last month. The Retailers Associations of Massachusetts is calling for consumer support for the 2017 Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday.
