Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot wants to get the word out regarding the upcoming Maryland Tax Free Week 2016. The tax-free savings event starts this Sunday.
The Maryland Comptroller will be in Baltimore on Tuesday, Frederick on Wednesday, Towson on Thursday, and Cambridge on Friday.
Maryland Tax Free Week begins this Sunday, August 14th and goes until Saturday, August 20th, 2016. During Maryland’s Tax-Free Week, shop qualifying clothes and footwear under $100. Save on Maryland’s 6% sales tax rate.
